Allied Practitioners

The primary expertise of our practice is providing allopathic medical care. We also value the contributions of providers experienced in complementary or alternative medicine, including the disciplines ofosteopathic manipulation, chiropractic, muscular therapy, herbology, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, homeopathy, and Reiki, and seek to integrate these approaches when beneficial. Sometimes the initiative comes from a patient who is already being treated by another practitioner. At other times we may initiate the referral when we believe it would complement a patient's care. We have developed a network of holistic practitioners whose work we trust, and who we feel exemplify the philosophy of care embraced by Primary Care Partnership.

Viennia Lopes Booth

Herbalist, Hypnotherapist, Natural Deathcare Advocate, Grower of Healing Plants & Flowers

Viennia Lopes Booth is a practicing herbalist and certified Hypnotherapist. Her diverse life experiences have circled around caring for each other and the earth in regenerative and affirming ways. She has over 15 years of extensive training in herbalism and has completed several intensive programs including Dr. Aviva Romm's Herbal Medicine for Women, the Herbal Academy's Intermediate Course, Eclectic School of Herbalism's Clinical Herbalism in Action clinical mentorship, and many professional conferences & workshops. Viennia also attended the Massachusetts Midwives Alliance Basic Midwifery course to further her knowledge of women's health. She has balanced her comprehensive formal book learning with countless hours learning from the plants in her gardens and as an apprentice for her herbal mentor, Deb Soule, founder of Avena Botanicals. Working with plants from seeds to medicine, Viennia is trained in regenerative agriculture and currently spends part of her time as an organic farmer, growing flowers and medicinal herbs for ritual and medicine. Having been inspired by how hypnosis has facilitated deep healing in her own life, Viennia attended the Hypnotherapy Training Institute in California to learn the craft and became certified in 2023.  She aims to help folks discover their ability to overcome challenges using hypnosis as a catalyst for powerful transformation so they can step fully into a fulfilling life. Viennia uses a holistic, client-centered approach and focuses on using plants and practices like hypnosis to support the nervous system, sleep, and women's health concerns. Caring for her father at the end of his life inspired her to further explore how plants and ritual can support folks and their caregivers at this important threshold. She is a natural deathcare advocate and aims to support families who are interested in family-led, community-based deathcare, green burial, and home funerals.  By sharing her insights on navigating the end-of-life continuum, she hopes to assist families who feel the call to honor the dying process in ways that feel meaningful to them. She enjoys exploring the intersections of life, death, and the plant world. Viennia is a first-generation college graduate with a Master’s degree in education and was an environmental educator and classroom teacher for 10 years. She loves learning and deeply appreciates how much she’s learned and continues to learn from teaching.  Viennia is a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe.  She is the daughter of a Mashpee Wampanoag /Cape Verdean father and a Dutch/English mother whose ancestors include both the original indigenous inhabitants of Cape Cod and some of its earliest colonists from afar. In all her work, Viennia takes every opportunity to nurture curiosity, stewardship, deep connection, and gratitude for all life in and among the various spaces we coexist.
